Update from The Sled Den

Left The Sled Den and had to drive up to 1500 ft to start our ride on Saturday.

It was raining and we rode anyway….with temps at 8 C it was foggy too. The snow was pretty good…..would have been better if it would have been 12 – 15 C but still had a great time!

Had Heidi and her boyfriend, Eric, as well as another friend of theirs, Wayne. They are all friends of friends….and now I can also call them friends. Yep, that’s what The Sled Den is all about – Riders coming together and becoming friends……wish that worked all the time on the mountains……….lol…….

The ride on Sunday was nicer…..we rode from the same place with fog again. It rained but then……turned to SNOW! The snow on the road is a foot at 1500 ft, then two feet at 2000 ft, then 3 – 4 ft at 3500 ft ! For sure there is enough to get in another weekend……..yep, another group this weekend…… Tree riding all weekend!!.....and some jumps !!!!

They say SUN but as usual, who knows…?!?....lol….It’s been a really good spring with a slow melt…..

Less snow by a lot this year but colder temps with spring made it last just as long…..actually, there is a little more snow now that last year at this time……

By the way, one of the riders, Heidi, can ride pretty damn good! She is xx years old…..lol…. OK, she has teenagers…..I never tell a woman’s age……lol…..
