Close call today at The Sled Den……one of the guys hit a stump!! It was just under the snow & hit the track ‘cause the skis were in the air!

Chris was climbing up a steep cut and I was just about to take a shot and he hit the stump. The sled went up into the air and then nose-dived into the snow. He went over the bars and hit the ski on his ribs………didn’t break anything but that was the end of the day....for him.....

Lots of wind last night, so where we went yesterday was new again today! One of the guys even cut a track and came back and said he was the first…..lol…..then told him it was the same spot but we were just over a bit further and we had left cause the powder was only 8”.

With wind-blown snow last night it was now 1 1/2 feet…..big difference!! This is why it’s such a great spot to ride…….snow, snowsqualls and wind. This can make new pow each day. The weather man says snow then some rain then snow…..but just a bit of rain with more than a foot. I will know ‘cause all the neighbourhood guys have been asking if I can ride with them... sure will…..so I will know the snow and post……
